Adoption

The Challenge

The SPCA estimates that 3.3 million dogs enter shelters every year.  Of those many are returned to their owners, 1.6 million are adopted and approximately 670,000 are euthanized.

The Solution

It is estimated that as many as 30 million people acquire a new companion animal every year in the U.S.  To solve the problem, we need to connect shelter dogs to those who are looking.

In addition, the puppy mill issue has spiraled out of control.  Please see some of our links in our Puppy Mill section.  Why bring more dogs into a world when so many are here in need of being adopted?
