Born into this world
with my brothers and sisters snuggled
against my mom.
Then suddenly…. taken,
and put in a crate,
where I stayed for weeks
and weeks…
until I became sick.
Some of my friends died,
some were taken away,
and others just looked at me each day
with eyes sooo sad.
